• Position: Hospital Respiratory Therapist / RRT (Travel)
• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (critical care)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• End Date: July 19, 2026
• Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Shift Times: 6:30am – 7:00pm or 6:30pm – 7:00am
• Parking: Provided after first day with employee badge
• Scrub Color: Navy blue

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Respiratory Care license for the state of Pennsylvania (required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
• Critical care experience required—experience with ventilator management and mechanical ventilation is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in critical care and acute care units
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders, including ventilator management and airway support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and mechanical ventilators
• Perform respiratory assessments and document patient care, progress, and ABG results accurately
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures
