• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Required Qualifications — Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in adult critical care, emergency department, and transport settings
• Valid Maryland (MD) license required at time of submission (compact license accepted)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• First-time travel respiratory therapists accepted
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Two (2) supervisor references required

Key Responsibilities — Respiratory Care & Critical Care

• Provide respiratory care across neonatal, adult, and geriatric populations in a hospital setting
• Perform and assist with airway management, intubation, extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Manage mechanical ventilation: ventilator setup, troubleshooting, ventilator changes, and weaning protocols
• Administer respiratory therapies including CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, aerosol treatments, and metered dose inhalers
• Interpret and obtain arterial blood gases (ABGs) and use results to guide respiratory interventions
• Respond to respiratory distress, codes, and emergencies in critical care and ED settings
• Participate in patient transports and critical care transfers as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, transport teams) to deliver high-quality patient care
• Accurately document assessments and interventions using the Cerner electronic health record
