Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430 (competitive travel pay)
- Location: Rochester, NY 14642
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (No holidays or on-call)
- Shifts: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8 hours per shift
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist, On-Site
- Setting: Interventional/OR-like suite supporting spine injections, ablations, and fluoroscopic procedures
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program
- Licensed by the New York State Department of Health (NY State license required)
- ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) — ARRT certified
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist experience, preferably in interventional radiology or procedural suites
- C-Arm and fluoroscopy experience preferred
- Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and HIS systems
- Flexibility to work overtime or off-shift duty as needed (evenings and weekends)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level without direct supervision
- Support interventional radiology and spine procedures (injections, ablations) in an OR-like environment
- Prepare procedure room, imaging equipment (C-arm), contrast agents, and necessary materials for patients
- Perform patient positioning, prep, and provide clear explanations to patients throughout exams
- Follow prescribed techniques to obtain diagnostic and procedural images while maintaining radiation safety
- Operate and troubleshoot PACS/RIS/HIS software and print exams on film when required
- Participate in department QA program and compliant documentation of procedures and patient conditions
- Maintain cleanliness, disinfect equipment/room between cases, restock supplies, and assist with general department duties
- Observe patients and equipment during procedures; report unusual occurrences and record patient status
- Active movement throughout the workday including standing, sitting, pivoting, and walking
