Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1830 - $1970
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (hospital respiratory therapy job)
• Shift: PM shifts, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Rotation: Day/Evening rotation (minimum 4 evening shifts in a 6-week period)
• Schedule: Every other weekend; every third holiday; voluntary on-call
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel Respiratory Therapist / RRT travel job in Pennsylvania)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (hospital/acute care experience preferred)
• Adult critical care experience required (critical care respiratory therapist skills)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active Pennsylvania state license (PA RRT license)
• BLS certification (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in a hospital setting (hospital respiratory therapy)
• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and interventions for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
• Provide ventilator management support and assist with mechanical ventilation when indicated; participate in ABG interpretation and oxygen therapy management
• Administer aerosolized medications, airway suctioning, and other respiratory therapies per hospital protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in day/evening shift rotations, weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
