Overview

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist) at a state-of-the-art hospital in Flemington, NJ. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensure radiation safety and high-quality imaging, and deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced hospital cath lab setting.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,770 – $2,980
• Position: Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist / Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Setting: Hospital Cath Lab (cardiac catheterization laboratory)

• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts per week; flexible start times between 6:30am and 7:30am
• On Call: Up to 10 days/month (average 6); call begins at 5pm or 7pm and ends at 6:30am; on-call rooms available if outside 30-minute radius

Job Requirements (Cath Lab / Radiology Technologist)

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; 2+ years preferred (cardiac catheterization experience preferred)
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy imaging, and radiation safety
• Local candidates in Flemington, New Jersey (08822) and surrounding areas preferred

Responsibilities (Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Technologist)

• Prepare the catheterization laboratory and equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures; maintain supply inventory and a clean environment of care
• Function as scrub assistant during diagnostic, interventional, and other cath lab procedures
• Act as hemodynamic monitor and control room operator during procedures; ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation
• Deliver high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging; perform quality assurance and uphold radiation safety protocols
• Review documentation with patients, explain procedures, answer questions, and provide an excellent patient experience throughout the cardiac catheterization process
• Maintain records of images, procedure reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory control
