Job Details – Travel Respiratory Therapist / RRT

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 – $1,970 (competitive travel RRT pay)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shifts: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift Times: Day (06:45–19:15), Night (18:45–07:15); majority daylight, rare night shifts
• Location: On-site at Jersey Shore, PA 17740 (Pennsylvania travel respiratory therapist job)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (acute care or hospital setting preferred)
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active Pennsylvania state respiratory license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, oxygen therapy, airway management, and respiratory assessment (preferred)

Key Responsibilities – Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care and therapy to patients in a hospital setting, including medical/surgical and acute care units
• Perform patient assessments, implement prescribed treatments, and monitor patient response
• Manage ventilators and provide ventilator support and weaning as needed; assist with ABG interpretation and oxygen titration
• Administer aerosolized/nebulized therapies, chest physiotherapy, and pulmonary hygiene interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Participate in D/N rotation with majority daylight shifts (rare night shifts); weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to hospital policies, and support quality and safety initiatives
