Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
• Location: On-site in Pottstown, PA (zip 19464) — Philadelphia area / Montgomery County
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift (hours between 6:00am – 9:00pm; 8-hour shifts; 5 shifts per week; 40 hours/week)
• Unit: PM Pharmacy — acute care hospital pharmacy operations

Job Requirements (Pharmacist Qualifications)

• Minimum 1 year of acute hospital pharmacy experience (acute care pharmacy, inpatient pharmacy)
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license / Registered Pharmacist in PA
• PA fingerprints required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Reliable clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy team

Responsibilities (Hospital Pharmacy & Clinical Duties)

• Prepare and dispense medications for inpatient and outpatient care, following hospital pharmacy policies and medication safety protocols
• Review and verify physician orders, perform medication reconciliation, and ensure dosing accuracy and drug interaction checks
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, medication counseling, and medication therapy management (MTM) to patients and healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, controlled substance documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists) to optimize patient outcomes and medication use
• Support pharmacy operations during day and evening coverage as needed, including inventory management and IV/sterile admixture oversight when applicable
