Job Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital pharmacy or inpatient clinical pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of medication management, order verification, dispensing, and clinical pharmacy practices
• Excellent communication, clinical consult, and teamwork skills for collaboration with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and automated dispensing systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and dispense medications for hospital patients according to physician orders and hospital pharmacy protocols
• Review medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness as part of clinical medication management
• Provide drug information, clinical recommendations, and medication education to healthcare providers and nursing staff
• Monitor patient medication therapies, participate in medication reconciliation, and collaborate with medical teams to optimize outcomes
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, ensure proper documentation, and comply with hospital policies and state and federal regulatory standards
