• Position: Travel Respiratory Therapist / Hospital Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 11, 2026 (or ASAP)
• Shifts: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:30), 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,760 – $1,890
• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (acute care / critical care)
• Patient Population: Neonates, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience (hospital/acute care preferred)
• Active Maryland or Compact Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
• CRT or RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• CPI certification (The Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
• Comfortable providing care across all age groups and floating within the hospital as needed
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Two satisfactory professional references (one supervisor/manager, one charge RN)
• Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to neonates, pediatrics, adult, and geriatric patients as a hospital respiratory therapist
• Perform respiratory assessments, ventilator management, ABG draws, and airway management
• Administer and monitor aerosol therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, and other advanced respiratory modalities
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, neonatal respiratory support, and emergency interventions
• Participate in rapid response and code situations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Float within specialties as needed to support patient care across the hospital
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all respiratory care activities and treatment plans
