• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 - $2,790

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
• Shift: 5 × 8-hour day shifts per week (40 hours/week)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) (required)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred — PharmD and clinical pharmacy experience are a plus
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in a clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Review all medication orders from physicians and physician extenders to ensure medication safety and appropriate therapy
• Dispense medications accurately, verifying drug, dose, frequency, and route
• Assess patient allergies, medical history, drug interactions, and laboratory data for potential clinical conflicts
• Maintain inventory control and ensure accuracy in medication preparation and distribution
• Provide drug information and clinical support to interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy students and pharmacy technicians to promote safe medication use
• Collaborate with the care team on medication reconciliation, discharge planning, and continuity of care
