Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist (radiation oncology experience preferred)
- Current ARRT certification required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program
- Experience with TrueBeam technology required
- EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) charting experience required
- Comfortable caring for adult patients, including COVID-positive individuals
- Facility is tobacco- and fragrance-free
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments using TrueBeam and other advanced linear accelerator equipment
- Work collaboratively with the radiation oncology team (physicians, dosimetrists, nurses) to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Use EPIC for accurate charting, treatment documentation, and communication
- Perform patient setup, tumor localization, immobilization, and custom mold/shield fabrication
- Assist with dose calculations, quality assurance checks, and treatment verification
- Implement safety protocols, infection control, and isolation precautions as required
- Participate in pre-start modules, competency validation, and ongoing training throughout the assignment
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult oncology patients across a range of diagnoses
