Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,140 - $2,290

- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/8/2026)
- Schedule: 40 hours/week, 4x10-hour shifts (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri); variable start times between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM
- No weekends, no call, and no holiday shifts required
- Orientation: 2 weeks (based on skillset and comfort level)

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT); first-time travel technologists welcome
- NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Maine (ME) state license required — candidates must be eligible to work in Maine
- Dosimeter (dose reader badge) required
- Clinical experience performing DEXA, cardiac stress/rest, HIDA, renal, bone scans, and PET CT
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for ED, outpatient, and inpatient populations, including PET CT, DEXA, cardiac, renal, bone, and HIDA scans
- Operate Siemens dual-head camera and GE IQ PET CT equipment with proficiency
- Use Cerner EMR and Enterprise Imaging AGFA PACS for imaging workflows and documentation
- Ensure radiation safety and proper radioactive materials handling; maintain dosimetry and quality control records
- Collaborate with lead techs, radiologists, nursing, and transport staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and excellent patient communication skills
- Adapt to variable start times and occasional shift length changes (8–10 hours/day)
