• Hours: 40 hours/week; 8-hour rotating shifts (7:00am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,830 – $3,040

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Tech, Special Procedures Technologist, or Cardiovascular Technologist in a hospital cath lab or interventional radiology
• Associate's degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology (JRCERT accredited program preferred)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI) certification, or equivalent recent clinical experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Completion of Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) course
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license if applicable
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and comfort using lead apron
• Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures: scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic parameters
• Operate interventional and diagnostic equipment safely and according to hospital protocols
• Set up and maintain sterile trays; clean and dispose of materials post-procedure
• Administer or assist with administration of contrast media under physician direction
• Perform safe patient transfers onto equipment, stretchers, and wheelchairs; provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the procedure
• Maintain inventory, track supplies, and ensure preventative maintenance of interventional equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Stay current with developments in electrophysiology (EP), interventional cardiology, and catheterization lab best practices
• Perform other related duties as assigned in the hospital cath lab setting
