Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1920 - $2060
• Location: New Brunswick, NJ (08901) — New Jersey radiology job / NJ healthcare
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend required; may be scheduled every other weekend based on unit needs
• Scrub Color: Black
• Role Type: Travel Radiology Technologist / Rad Tech / X-ray Technologist

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience (diagnostic radiography / X-ray)
• Active NJ Radiology license required before start date (NJ ARRT license preferred)
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS from AHA required
• Experience with C-arm and portable X-ray equipment required; O-arm experience preferred
• Familiarity with Philips, Siemens, and GE imaging systems
• EPIC charting and documentation experience required
• Ability to float to other units within skillset as needed (cross-cover for surgical and inpatient units)
• Availability to work 2 of 3 holidays during the contract

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate and troubleshoot C-arm, portable, and O-arm imaging equipment
• Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol when required
• Maintain radiation safety, ALARA principles, and infection prevention standards
• Accurately document procedures, images, and patient information in EPIC
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Provide reliable coverage and flexibility as a travel rad tech in New Jersey healthcare settings
