- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,830 (competitive travel RRT pay)

- Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Care Unit / Adult acute care
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel contract)
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- Shift: Night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current Pennsylvania state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of adult respiratory care experience in a hospital/acute care setting
- Experience with ventilator management, non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP), and ABG analysis
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
- In-state fingerprints and all required credentialing documentation for travel assignments
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in an acute hospital setting as a hospital respiratory therapist
- Perform patient assessments, ventilator management, ventilator setting adjustments, and weaning protocols
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP)
- Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis; interpret results to guide therapy
- Provide advanced airway management and assist with intubation and extubation processes when indicated
- Monitor patient progress, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and communicate respiratory care plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control
