• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,830 (competitive travel RRT pay)

• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Care Unit / Adult acute care

• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• Shift: Night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current Pennsylvania state license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of adult respiratory care experience in a hospital/acute care setting
• Experience with ventilator management, non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP), and ABG analysis
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• In-state fingerprints and all required credentialing documentation for travel assignments

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in an acute hospital setting as a hospital respiratory therapist
• Perform patient assessments, ventilator management, ventilator setting adjustments, and weaning protocols
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP)
• Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis; interpret results to guide therapy
• Provide advanced airway management and assist with intubation and extubation processes when indicated
• Monitor patient progress, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and communicate respiratory care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control
