CVOR OR Tech (Surgical Technologist) – 8-week contract in Trenton, NJ. Join a collaborative cardiac surgery team performing ablations, Watchman procedures and device implants in a busy cardiovascular operating room.

• Location: Trenton, NJ 08638 (Mercer County) – convenient to Philadelphia and New York City; ideal for New Jersey healthcare professionals seeking cardiac OR experience
• Position: CVOR OR Tech / Operating Room Technician / Surgical Technologist (Cardiovascular)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: May 25, 2026
• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00am – 5:30pm
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
• Availability: No weekends, holidays, or on-call required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Tech or Surgical Technologist with cardiovascular procedures (ablation, Watchman, device implants)
• Active New Jersey licensure
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures including ablations, Watchman device placements, and cardiac device implantations
• Set up, prepare, and manage sterile instruments, implants, and cardiovascular equipment for procedures
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to all perioperative safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, perfusionists, and the perioperative team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Perform instrument counts, equipment checks, and ensure proper handling of specialized cardiac devices
• Provide high-quality patient care during the perioperative process and support turnover efficiency in the CVOR
