Travel Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist – 13-week hospital contract in Johnson City, NY. Join a high-performing interventional radiology team performing advanced neuro IR and angio procedures in a hospital setting. ARRT certification and New York state license required.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,050 - $3,280
• Location: Johnson City, NY 13790 (Broome County, Upstate New York)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Shift: Day Rotational, 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:30am – 6:00pm), on call every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Technologist / On-site Hospital Position

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• New York State license as Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT(R) certification (Radiography or Interventional Radiography)
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional procedures
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Angio/Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR under physician direction
• Provide technical support for neurointerventional procedures including angiography, embolization, coilings, clot retrievals, ablations, and therapeutic injections
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment (fluoroscopy suites, digital angiography systems) following hospital protocols and radiation safety standards
• Assist with sterile and non-sterile procedural support and patient positioning during neurointerventional cases
• Perform quality assurance checks, maintain supply inventory, and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Use hospital information systems (PACS/RIS/EHR) for scheduling, image management, and accurate documentation/billing
• Provide instruction and precepting for students and residents as needed
• Stay current with new techniques and technology through continuing education and maintain patient confidentiality per hospital policies
