• Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Respiratory Therapist (Travel)
• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory / Pulmonary Unit (acute care, critical care)
• Contract Type: Travel (13 weeks; 8 or 12 week options may be available)
• Dates: June 15, 2026 – September 14, 2026
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); 4x12-hour option may be available
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,630 – $1,750 (competitive travel respiratory therapist pay)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: As needed; weekend and holiday coverage required
• Note: May float to other units as needed

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in hospital or pulmonary unit
• Active NBRC certification (RRT or CRT accepted) — NBRC credential required
• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license (RRT) — license must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS certification (required at time of submission)
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Must be nicotine-free (facility is smoke-free; negative nicotine/cotinine screen required)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical or religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete BCI and FBI background checks within 48 hours of contract signing
• All work history, including any previous positions in the area, must be included in your profile

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and pulmonary services to patients across the hospital, including assessment, treatment, ventilator management, and monitoring
• Deliver respiratory therapy in critical care, step-down, and general medical-surgical units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, pulmonary therapists) to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to other units as required by patient census
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, compliance standards, and safety protocols
• Participate in required orientation, in-service training, and annual competencies
