Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150-$2,310
• Location: Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania
• Setting: Hospital Laboratory

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Medical Laboratory Scientist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience required
• Strong working knowledge of blood bank, chemistry, and hematology
• Experience working in a hospital laboratory setting preferred
• Ability to perform testing accurately while maintaining quality and compliance standards
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduled rotation

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis in blood bank, chemistry, and hematology departments
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens and reporting of results
• Maintain laboratory quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Troubleshoot instruments and assist with routine maintenance as needed
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and clinical teams to support quality patient care
• Document testing activities and maintain complete, accurate laboratory records
