• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 8/24/2026
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4x12-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,240 - $2,400
• Patient Population: Adults
• Charting System: Epic
• Equipment: GE and PACS
• On-Call: Not required
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
• Current New Jersey license or certification required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience documenting in Epic preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, contrast preparation, and radiation safety practices
• Ability to work a day-shift travel assignment and complete compliance requirements on time
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans for adult patients in a hospital setting
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the MRI process clearly and professionally
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while following established protocols
• Support a variety of diagnostic imaging studies, including neuro, abdominal, vascular, musculoskeletal, and cardiac-related exams
• Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patient comfort throughout the exam
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR, Epic, and PACS systems
• Follow safety standards, infection control practices, and MRI room protocols
• Collaborate with radiology and interdisciplinary team members to provide excellent patient care
