- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830-$1,970
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Setting: Hospital-based pediatric respiratory care
- Patient Population: NICU, PICU, CVICU, and pediatric patients
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Current Ohio RRT license in hand
- NBRC certification required
- Active BLS certification required
- Advanced NRP required
- PALS certification required
- Experience working with pediatric, NICU, and PICU patients required
- High-acuity experience in Level IV NICU care strongly preferred
- Ability to provide all required certifications at time of submission
- Willingness to complete onboarding, fingerprinting, and compliance steps prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU environments
- Support patient assessments, treatments, and therapy delivery based on provider orders and unit protocols
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to respond to changing patient needs in high-acuity settings
- Float as needed to affiliated pediatric and neonatal units
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital standards for patient care
- Adhere to all compliance, scheduling, and onboarding requirements for the travel assignment
