Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
  • Current Ohio RRT license in hand
  • NBRC certification required
  • Active BLS certification required
  • Advanced NRP required
  • PALS certification required
  • Experience working with pediatric, NICU, and PICU patients required
  • High-acuity experience in Level IV NICU care strongly preferred
  • Ability to provide all required certifications at time of submission
  • Willingness to complete onboarding, fingerprinting, and compliance steps prior to start

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU environments
  • Support patient assessments, treatments, and therapy delivery based on provider orders and unit protocols
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to respond to changing patient needs in high-acuity settings
  • Float as needed to affiliated pediatric and neonatal units
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow hospital standards for patient care
  • Adhere to all compliance, scheduling, and onboarding requirements for the travel assignment
