• Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45211
• Setting: Diagnostic radiology / medical imaging
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Shift Schedule: Afternoons/nights, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920-$2,060
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Rotating 3rd weekend and holidays
• Start Date: 8/3/2026

Job Requirements

• 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred
• ARRT certification and registration required
• State radiology license preferred or required based on assignment requirements
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required before direct patient care
• Experience with OR and fluoroscopy strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PACS, EPIC, and Radiology Information Systems is a plus
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy, safety, and professionalism
• Obtain patient history and ensure appropriate documentation is available for the provider
• Position and immobilize patients to best demonstrate the area of interest while maintaining comfort
• Apply radiation safety principles and ALARA standards to protect patients, staff, and self
• Operate imaging equipment and related accessories to produce high-quality studies
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures as needed
• Verify informed consent and complete required pre- and post-procedure documentation
• Prepare and administer contrast or medications as directed by a licensed practitioner
• Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposure
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
