- Job Type: Travel Radiology Technologist assignment
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45211
- Setting: Diagnostic radiology / medical imaging
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
- Shift Schedule: Afternoons/nights, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920-$2,060
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Rotating 3rd weekend and holidays
- Start Date: 8/3/2026
Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred
- ARRT certification and registration required
- State radiology license preferred or required based on assignment requirements
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required before direct patient care
- Experience with OR and fluoroscopy strongly preferred
- Familiarity with PACS, EPIC, and Radiology Information Systems is a plus
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy, safety, and professionalism
- Obtain patient history and ensure appropriate documentation is available for the provider
- Position and immobilize patients to best demonstrate the area of interest while maintaining comfort
- Apply radiation safety principles and ALARA standards to protect patients, staff, and self
- Operate imaging equipment and related accessories to produce high-quality studies
- Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures as needed
- Verify informed consent and complete required pre- and post-procedure documentation
- Prepare and administer contrast or medications as directed by a licensed practitioner
- Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposure
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
