Job Details
- Position: Travel Radiology Technologist
- Location: Lima, Ohio
- Setting: Hospital-based diagnostic radiology
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 8/3/2026
- End Date: 11/2/2026
- Shift: 8-hour evenings
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, every third weekend
- Hours: 40 hours per week with a 72-hour guarantee per 2-week pay period
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 - $2,060
- Call Requirement: No call
Radiology Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hospital inpatient acute care experience required
- ARRT certification required
- Valid state radiology license required
- BLS certification preferred upon hire and required prior to direct patient care
- Experience with diagnostic x-ray procedures required
- Experience with ER, inpatient, and outpatient imaging preferred
- Experience with C-arm procedures required
- Previous OR/surgery experience preferred
- Familiarity with GE mobile units and GE rooms preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient-centered care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and effectively
- Obtain patient history and relevant clinical information before imaging
- Position and immobilize patients to capture optimal images while maintaining comfort and safety
- Apply radiation protection principles and ALARA standards at all times
- Operate imaging equipment and associated accessories to complete procedures accurately
- Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures as needed
- Prepare, identify, and administer medications or contrast as directed by a licensed practitioner
- Verify informed consent and complete pre- and post-procedure documentation
- Evaluate image quality, document dose exposure, and relay orders appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, fellow technologists, patients, and families in a professional manner
