• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour nights, 7:45 PM to 5:45 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekend Rotation: Rotating weekends
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 - $1,700
• Patient Population: Neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in neurophysiology, sleep disorders medicine, or a related sleep lab setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One of the following credentials is required: RPSGT, RST, or Licensed Respiratory Therapist with SDS credential
• BLS certification required before patient care
• Polysomnography state licensure preferred, if applicable to the state of practice
• Strong computer skills, including accurate data entry and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Knowledge of sleep medicine guidelines, sleep study scoring, and AASM standards
• Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for overnight sleep studies and clearly explain testing procedures
• Review patient history and clinical data to determine the appropriate polysomnography testing approach
• Operate polysomnographic equipment to capture diagnostic and therapeutic recordings
• Perform sleep staging and event scoring according to AASM guidelines
• Document accurate technical reports to support physician interpretation and patient care
• Troubleshoot equipment and monitor study quality throughout the shift
• Assist with patient scheduling, billing-related support, and general office tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and infection control procedures
• Stay current through continuing education and ongoing professional development
