Job Details

• Position: Travel Radiology Technologist / Radiologic Technologist
• Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: Days/evenings with every other weekend coverage; minimal call may be needed based on volume or call-offs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 - $2,060
• Location: Youngstown, OH 44512

Job Requirements

• Active ARRT certification and registration required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required or obtained prior to direct patient care
• At least 1 year of radiology, diagnostic imaging, or radiation safety and patient care experience required
• Experience with radiology information systems preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and PACS preferred
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and adapt to changing patient needs
• Ability to work around patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and effectively
• Position and prepare patients to best demonstrate the area of interest while ensuring comfort and accuracy
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self
• Verify orders, informed consent, and complete documentation before and after procedures
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures as needed
• Administer or prepare medications and contrast as directed by licensed practitioners
• Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposure
• Collaborate professionally with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other healthcare team members
• Support surgery and NICU coverage as needed
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while working efficiently in a high-volume imaging setting
