Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program
• At least 1 year of recent sonographer experience required
• Sonographer certification or equivalent credential required
• Experience working in a hospital, breast center, or diagnostic imaging setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment, breast imaging, and imaging protocols
• Ability to complete required competencies, screenings, and verification items prior to onboarding
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging studies
• Capture accurate breast ultrasound images to support clinical evaluation and patient care
• Follow established imaging procedures, safety standards, and department workflows
• Prepare patients for examinations and provide professional, compassionate care
• Work collaboratively with physicians, radiology staff, and the care team to ensure timely completion of studies
• Maintain documentation and imaging quality standards throughout each shift
