- Assignment Type: Travel CVOR Tech, on-site hospital setting
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,970
- Location: Washington, DC 20010
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day/evening shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift Times: 0630-1830 and 1100-2330
- Call Requirement: 6 calls per 6-week schedule
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday per 6-week schedule
- Float Opportunity: May float to general surgery when cardiac cases are not available
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Tech, cardiovascular operating room, or surgical services experience
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- Active BLS certification required
- Active DC license required at the time of submission
- Strong aseptic technique and case cart experience
- Experience with cardiac surgery and vascular surgical cases preferred
- Robotics experience preferred
- Comfort with call, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Current flu vaccination required
Responsibilities
- Support the CVOR team during a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and a safe, efficient surgical environment
- Prepare case carts, equipment, and supplies for complex procedures
- Assist with all surgical service lines and cases as needed
- Provide support for robotic surgery and specialty surgical cases when applicable
- Adapt quickly to changing case volume and assist with general surgery when cardiac cases are not scheduled
- Participate in call rotation and scheduled weekend/holiday coverage
