- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 - $2,920
- Charting System: Epic
- On-Call: Yes, every 3rd weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays, based on unit needs
- Floating: Required within skillset
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Patient Population: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology or closely related radiology experience
- Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist license required
- ARRT(R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic required
- Strong knowledge of fluoroscopy, 3D imaging, and sterile technique
- Experience supporting high-acuity patients across multiple age groups
- Ability to adapt quickly, stay organized, and work effectively in a team setting
- Must be able to float within scope of practice and skillset
Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional radiology and special procedures in a busy hospital environment
- Prepare the room, set up equipment, and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
- Support vascular and endovascular cases, including angiography, angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement
- Assist with imaging-guided procedures such as biopsies, drain exchanges, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube placement
- Provide support for advanced cardiac and diagnostic catheterization procedures as assigned
- Maintain PACS workflow, equipment readiness, inventory, and supply stocking
- Follow isolation precautions and contribute to a safe, efficient patient care environment
- Collaborate closely with the care team to deliver excellent patient support and procedural care
