- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with varying start times; occasional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
- Additional Coverage: 1 evening shift and 1 Saturday per month
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,630
- Setting: PET/CT and general nuclear medicine
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient imaging settings preferred
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
- Valid Ohio state license
- Ability to start and maintain IVs
- Comfort using PACS and Epic
- Experience with PET scanning, whole-body imaging, and cardiac or neuroendocrine studies preferred
- Strong communication skills and flexibility with scheduling
Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and patient-centered care
- Conduct a high volume of imaging studies, including whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine scans
- Prepare patients, establish IV access, and ensure safe administration of imaging protocols
- Work collaboratively within a busy weekday nuclear medicine and PET/CT team
- Document and manage imaging workflow using PACS and Epic
- Support quality imaging outcomes while maintaining attention to detail and patient comfort
- Adapt to occasional evening and Saturday coverage as needed
