• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 15:30
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260-$2,430
• Call/Weekends: No call or weekends

Radiation Therapist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or cancer care setting
• Associate’s degree from an approved Radiation Therapy Technology training program
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license
• BLS certification
• EPIC charting experience required
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and patient-centered communication skills

Radiation Therapy Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to the treatment plan
• Maintain daily treatment records, including dosages, calculations, and documentation
• Perform simulations, acquire treatment parameters, and complete patient contours and dose calculations
• Coordinate patient schedules for both inpatients and outpatients
• Communicate regularly with families, nurses, and hospital staff to support smooth scheduling and patient care
• Monitor patient condition and progress, including weight, skin care, and treatment-related reactions
• Assist the Radiation Oncologist with brachytherapy procedures
