MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience preferred
• Current MRI Technician certification or equivalent credentials
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, patient positioning, and imaging protocols
• Ability to provide a positive patient experience while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Required onboarding items may include background screening, health clearance, and verification of credentials

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with clinical protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly and professionally
• Ensure MRI safety standards are followed for patients, staff, and equipment
• Accurately position patients and obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members
• Maintain documentation and support smooth workflow in the imaging department
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient care
