Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or comparable acute care setting
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Current Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in a hospital setting
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other prescribed respiratory treatments
• Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment safely and effectively
• Respond to changes in patient condition and support emergency respiratory interventions as needed
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
