MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting
• ARRT certification required
• MRI Technician certification required
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong attention to patient safety, scan quality, and departmental imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with provider orders and department procedures
• Prepare patients for imaging and clearly explain MRI procedures to support a positive patient experience
• Complete MRI safety screening and follow all imaging safety standards and hospital protocols
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust imaging protocols as needed to produce optimal diagnostic results
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support accurate and timely diagnoses
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to efficient workflow throughout the MRI department
