• Position: CVOR Tech / Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician
• Setting: Hospital Operating Room
• Location: East Stroudsburg, PA 18301
• Start Date: 9/21/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Additional Notes: Scrubs provided; first-time travelers with the right OR experience are welcome

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in CVOR, surgical technology, or a related operating room setting
• Current BLS certification
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Experience supporting complex cardiovascular surgery and general surgery cases
• Ability to work a day shift schedule and every other weekend
• Comfortable floating between CVOR and the general OR as needed
• Strong sterile technique, teamwork, critical thinking, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support surgeons, scrub teams, and the operating room staff during cardiovascular and general surgery procedures
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for a wide variety of surgical cases
• Assist with vascular, thoracic, transplant, and cardiac procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment
• Maintain a sterile field and follow safe, efficient OR workflow practices
• Float to the general OR when CVOR needs are not active
• Participate in CVOR call and general OR call coverage as assigned
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to help ensure smooth case progression
