Experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Towson, MD, just north of Baltimore. Join a high-volume nuclear medicine department, work Monday through Friday day shift, and deliver precise, compassionate patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

- Shift Duration: 8-hour days, 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,430
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Setting: High-volume nuclear medicine department
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active ARRT(N), ARRT(R), or NMTCB certification required
- Active state license required
- BLS certification required
- Strong independent clinical skills and attention to detail required
- Experience with Epic preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with a high scan load
- Experience with GE equipment and SPEC CTG850 preferred
- Must be comfortable with weekday and weekend on-call expectations
- Must be willing to float within specialty scope as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies, including nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies
- Provide accurate, compassionate patient care to adult and geriatric patients
- Prepare, administer, and handle radioactive materials safely and according to protocol
- Support both outpatient and inpatient workflow in a busy nuclear medicine department
- Start and maintain IVs as needed for procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain quality standards throughout each exam
- Collaborate with radiology, interpretation services, and other care team members
- Participate in weekday on-call coverage and every-other-weekend on-call coverage as scheduled
