• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 - $2,550
• On Call: No
• Weekend Requirement: No

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent cytology experience
• Certified Cytotechnologist (ASCP) required
• Experience screening ThinPrep Pap specimens and non-gynecological specimens
• FNA and specimen preparation experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital laboratory setting
• Must be able to pass a full nicotine and drug screening on day one
• Familiarity with EPIC is helpful
• FLU vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Perform cytology screening on ThinPrep Pap specimens and non-gyn samples
• Support accurate and timely diagnostic workflow within the laboratory
• Review specimens in accordance with established quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with the laboratory team to maintain efficient daily operations
• Assist with FNA and specimen preparation activities when applicable
• Maintain professionalism, attention to detail, and strong documentation practices
