Job Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in ICU, IMCU, and general floor settings
- Strong ventilator management skills, including initiation, monitoring, and weaning support
- Experience with BiPAP and CPAP therapy adjustments
- Ability to work across multiple clinical areas based on departmental needs
- Professional, flexible, and patient-centered approach to care
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care across acute care areas, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics
- Manage high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), moderate-flow oxygen therapy, and transport ventilators
- Perform tracheostomy care and airway management support
- Assist with patient transport while maintaining airway and oxygenation support
- Collect and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Support bronchoscopic procedures as needed
- Conduct home oxygen evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure safe, effective respiratory treatment across settings
