Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Active New York state license required at time of consideration
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam, IX, and Aria software preferred
• Ability to maintain all required state and federal licenses and registrations

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments in support of oncology patients
• Operate advanced radiation equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical support team members to support individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate treatment records, patient documentation, and workflow updates
• Monitor patient comfort and respond professionally throughout the treatment process
• Support efficient daily workflow in a busy hospital oncology department
• Follow departmental policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
