Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience
- Active New York state license required at time of consideration
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam, IX, and Aria software preferred
- Ability to maintain all required state and federal licenses and registrations
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments in support of oncology patients
- Operate advanced radiation equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical support team members to support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate treatment records, patient documentation, and workflow updates
- Monitor patient comfort and respond professionally throughout the treatment process
- Support efficient daily workflow in a busy hospital oncology department
- Follow departmental policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
