Job Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Massachusetts respiratory therapist license required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy
• At least 2 years of experience working in one location
• 1 to 2 years of travel respiratory therapist experience preferred
• Ventilator experience in an acute care hospital setting required
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Experience with hospital-based respiratory care workflows

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory therapy support across acute care units
• Manage ventilators and assist with patient respiratory needs in ICU and med/surg settings
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and related respiratory procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Document care accurately in EPIC
• Support assignment coverage across day, evening, and night needs as required by the unit
• Use ventilator equipment such as PB980 and Hamilton T1 transport ventilators when assigned
