Job Requirements

• 1+ year of MRI technologist experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience in both acute care and outpatient imaging settings preferred
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
• Active state licensure
• Experience with IV starts
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality MRI imaging standards
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort working with mostly adult patients and some older pediatric patients

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams for inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, and med-surg patients
• Produce clear, high-quality images while following department protocols and imaging standards
• Screen patients for MRI safety and support safe imaging workflows
• Collaborate with radiology and support teams to ensure efficient patient care
• Manage exam volume effectively while limiting patients to no more than two studies at a time
• Work independently when needed while staying connected to available clinical support
• Maintain a professional, patient-focused approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment
