- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating schedule
- Schedule: 8- or 10-hour shifts, details to be determined
- Weekend Coverage: Potential Saturday rotation
- Holiday Expectations: 50% of holidays in contract
- Orientation: 1 week or less
- Floating: May include mobile scanning within the hospital and occasional support at a nearby facility
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac sonography or echocardiography experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Active BLS certification required
- RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI required
- Experience with TTE, TEE, stress echo, bubble study, and contrast administration
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a busy hospital imaging environment
- Strong communication and patient care skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams for adult patients
- Provide imaging support for both inpatient and outpatient care needs
- Complete TTE, TEE, stress echo, bubble study, and contrast studies accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to support timely diagnosis and care decisions
- Use ultrasound equipment and electronic charting systems with confidence and attention to detail
- Maintain a professional, patient-focused approach throughout every exam
- Assist with mobile scanning and occasional floating assignments as needed
