Job Details
- Position Type: Travel Radiology Technologist assignment
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920-$2,060
- Location: Cincinnati, OH
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Additional Scheduling: Rotating third weekend and holidays
Job Requirements
- 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care, preferred
- ARRT certification and registration required
- Active state radiology license preferred or required based on assignment location
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association preferred upon hire and required before direct patient care
- Experience with fluoroscopy and operating room procedures strongly preferred
- Experience with EPIC and PACS systems preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures safely and accurately
- Prepare patients for imaging by obtaining clinical history and relevant information
- Position and immobilize patients to obtain high-quality images while maintaining comfort and dignity
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles to protect patients, staff, and self
- Operate radiographic equipment and related accessories
- Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures as needed
- Verify informed consent and complete pre- and post-procedure documentation
- Administer or prepare medications and contrast as directed by a licensed practitioner
- Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposures
- Collaborate professionally with physicians, nurses, technologists, and patients
