• Department Size: 3-room interventional radiology suite
• Charting System: Cerner preferred
• Equipment Experience: Siemens preferred; Philips, Toshiba, and GE experience valued

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Neuro and vascular interventional radiology experience required
• Active Maryland RT license or Compact license required at time of submission
• ARRT-R required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• ARRT-VI preferred
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred
• Experience in a teaching hospital and Level I trauma setting preferred
• References required
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiographic procedures safely and independently without direct supervision
• Support a wide variety of procedures including biopsies, peripheral interventions, stroke procedures, kyphoplasty, nephrograms, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Assist with angiographic and endovascular procedures using prescribed techniques
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service throughout the procedural experience
• Maintain patient, coworker, and personal safety while following all national patient safety goals
• Float within scope as needed to support facility operations
• Work collaboratively with the care team to help ensure efficient daily workflow and positive patient outcomes
