Job Requirements

• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level III or higher NICU, or 1 year of PICU experience required
• Valid state license or certification required at time of submission
• Current RRT certification required
• Current BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Experience caring for neonates and pediatric patients preferred
• Strong skills in critical care respiratory support, airway management, and neonatal respiratory therapy

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation
• Support ventilator management, including CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, and high-frequency ventilation
• Assist with intubation, extubation, and airway troubleshooting
• Perform aerosol treatments, pulmonary hygiene, and respiratory monitoring
• Support tracheostomy care, blood gas collection, and nitric oxide therapy as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote safe, high-quality patient care
