Job Requirements
- 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- At least 1 year of experience in a Level III or higher NICU, or 1 year of PICU experience required
- Valid state license or certification required at time of submission
- Current RRT certification required
- Current BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Experience caring for neonates and pediatric patients preferred
- Strong skills in critical care respiratory support, airway management, and neonatal respiratory therapy
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation
- Support ventilator management, including CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, and high-frequency ventilation
- Assist with intubation, extubation, and airway troubleshooting
- Perform aerosol treatments, pulmonary hygiene, and respiratory monitoring
- Support tracheostomy care, blood gas collection, and nitric oxide therapy as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote safe, high-quality patient care
