Job Requirements

• 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography professional
• Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography
• Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required
• CPR certification required; AHA and ARC accepted
• Strong technical skills with the ability to function independently and unsupervised
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Perform quality, complete echocardiogram studies in a hospital setting
• Apply strong technical judgment to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with the cardiology care team
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all patient interactions
• Communicate clearly with team members to support efficient clinical workflow
• Manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Provide compassionate, detail-oriented support to patients throughout the imaging process
