• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shift: 8-hour nights
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM preferred; 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM also considered
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 - $2,380

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• 3 years of MRI technologist experience required; must be able to independently scan
• Experience performing routine MRI exams in a hospital setting
• Ability to scan inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
• ARRT certification preferred or ARMRIT certification required
• Active New York state license with injection privileges
• Current BLS certification
• Comfort working with Epic EMR and multiple MRI scanners
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI examinations with accuracy and efficiency
• Scan inpatient, ICU, and ER patients in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
• Operate advanced MRI equipment, including 3T and 1.5T systems
• Maintain high standards for patient safety, comfort, and image quality
• Collaborate with the care team to support timely diagnostic imaging
• Document imaging procedures and workflow details in Epic
• Follow department protocols and maintain compliance with facility policies
