• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,440 - $2,620
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, mid shift (2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m.)
• Call: No call required
• Weekend Coverage: Possible 1 weekend shift during the contract
• Orientation: Provided prior to start
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Previous pediatric imaging experience required
• Siemens 1.5T and/or 3T experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must be comfortable starting IVs in pediatric patients
• Experience with contrast preparation and administration
• Must provide 2 supervisory references at time of submission, with at least 1 manager or supervisor reference
• Travel MRI technologists must be prepared to float as needed
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams for inpatient and outpatient patients from neonates through age 26
• Support a wide range of pediatric MRI studies, including neuro, body, MSK, angiography, spectroscopy, and sedated/non-sedated cases
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment while maintaining excellent image quality and patient safety
• Use Epic, PACS, and monitoring equipment to support efficient imaging workflow
• Prepare patients for scanning, including IV placement and contrast administration when indicated
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide compassionate pediatric imaging care
• Adapt to floating needs across units as required by the assignment
