Job Details

• Position Type: Travel Radiation Therapist
• Location: Boston, Massachusetts

• Assignment Length: 26 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,970
• Schedule: Shifts vary day to day and week to week based on patient volume
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Work Environment: Fast-paced radiation oncology setting with advanced technology and a collaborative care team

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of radiation therapy experience required
• 4 years of radiation therapist experience preferred
• Previous travel radiation therapist experience preferred
• Current radiation therapist certification or state license as required for practice
• Experience working in a busy clinical or oncology environment preferred
• Comfort working with advanced treatment systems and radiation oncology workflows
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality radiation therapy services in support of the daily patient care schedule
• Participate in warm-up, opening, late/closing, clinical care, and administrative duties as needed
• Deliver treatment support for a diverse patient population, including inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and palliative care cases
• Operate within a fast-paced oncology setting while maintaining safety, accuracy, and professionalism
• Work collaboratively with the radiation oncology care team to help ensure smooth patient flow and excellent treatment experiences
• Support treatment delivery using modern oncology technologies and department workflows
