• Position: Travel Mammography Technologist
• Location: New Haven, Connecticut
• Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
• Setting: Short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center
• Start Date: ASAP / 9/14/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with two day-shift options as needed; every other Saturday
• Weekend Coverage: 2–3 weekend shifts per month
• Floating: Between 4 sites as needed
• Charting System: Epic
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260–$2,430
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Pre-Approved Time Off: Up to 1 request

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in mammography or a closely related breast imaging role
• ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Active Connecticut radiology license required prior to start date
• Travel experience required
• Experience with Hologic equipment preferred
• Breast ultrasound experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating day shifts and occasional Saturdays
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a multi-site healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Support 3D mammography and digital mammography procedures
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Maintain radiation safety standards and universal precautions at all times
• Work collaboratively with radiology and breast imaging team members to support efficient workflow
• Float between multiple sites and adapt to changing daily needs
• Operate mammography imaging equipment with attention to accuracy and quality standards
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and help ensure a positive patient experience
• Follow facility protocols and maintain documentation in Epic
