Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel, on-site cytology job
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,430

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cytology experience required
- Valid state license required at time of submission
- ASCP-CT certification required
- Experience with charting systems required
- Strong knowledge of cytology specimen handling, preparation, and processing
- Ability to meet compliance requirements and maintain a high standard of accuracy, professionalism, and patient care
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process cytology specimens accurately and efficiently
- Make smears, perform staining, and support ThinPrep/Cytolyt workflows
- Assist with on-site procedures and specimen collection as needed
- Handle a variety of specimen types, including PAP, urine, bronchial, gastric, spinal, ascitic, and esophageal specimens
- Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks to support lab excellence
- Maintain accurate labeling, documentation, and charting
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to help ensure timely, high-quality diagnostic results
